Requirements for the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course:
For this course students must be a minimum 12 years of age and have completed the Open Water Diver certification.
Structure of the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course:
Prepare yourself for an exhilarating underwater adventure with the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course. This comprehensive program is designed to equip divers with the necessary skills and knowledge for safe and enjoyable night diving experiences. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical application during 3 thrilling night dives. Usually done over the course of 3 days, participants will gain confidence in navigating and exploring the underwater world after dark. To start, students will receive the PADI night diver manual providing them with all the knowledge necessary for participating in this course. The course begins with an introduction to night diving, covering equipment considerations, safety protocols, and an overview of nocturnal marine life behaviour. Students will learn dive planning for night dives and techniques for underwater navigation in low-light conditions. Practical training and skill development sessions take place during the night dives, where students will practice learned techniques under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Divers will have the opportunity to participate in 3 night dives to work these skills. Finally students will complete a written exam reviewing all of the information learned during the course. Upon completion, Students will receive an email from PADI with their PADI Night Diver Specialty certification. What is Included in the Night Diver Specialty Course:
The Night Diver Specialty Course includes the Night Diver manual, a class on theory with one of our highly trained instructors, dive computer, underwater compass, underwater torches, 3 night dives, PADI registration and PADI certification. Our price does not include equipment, however we offer brand new rental equipment if needed. We also offer free Nitrox, if you do not have your Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification we offer the course if you are interested in diving with Nitrox.
