Description of the Seal Team Program:

The PADI Seal Team is an exciting underwater experience for kids aged 8 and up, packed with fun scuba missions in the pool. It’s perfect for young divers who want to learn more about diving and experience underwater challenges in a safe, controlled setting. From underwater navigation to buoyancy games and environmental awareness tasks, this is where future divers are born!

Courses are available every day!

What to Expect:

  • Briefing & Gear Setup – We start with a short, fun explanation of scuba gear and underwater safety. Kids are fitted with child-sized dive equipment and prepped for their AquaMission!
  • Underwater Pool Missions – Your child will complete up to two PADI AquaMissions. These could include underwater navigation, hover challenges, search & recovery games, and more! Each mission focuses on building confidence and having fun while learning real dive skills.
  • Debrief & Seal Team Recognition – At the end of the session, kids get a PADI Seal Team Recognition Certificate and a chance to talk about their dive with the instructor. It’s a memory they’ll never forget.

Price of the PADI Seal Team Program:

The price of the PADI Seal Team Program is 2000 MXN per child, including pool session, AquaMissions, equipment, Seal Team recognition, and all taxes/fees. No hidden costs!

Where to meet?
Our meeting point is at our Dive Shop located at Flamingos Street, between 40th Street North and 42nd Street North, Zazil-Ha Neighborhood, Postal Code 77720 Playa del Carmen, Q.R.
Is certification required?
Nope! This is a non-certification experience, just pure fun under professional supervision. No previous experience is needed.
What are the benefits of taking this course?
It builds confidence, encourages teamwork, teaches responsibility, and gives kids a chance to try real scuba gear in a safe and fun way, plus they get to complete real dive-style missions!
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age for our Seal Team Program is 8 years old.
What will my child learn during the program?
Your child will learn scuba basics such as breathing, clearing, and buoyancy, practice fun skills like hovering and swimming through hoops, try simple underwater navigation or search games, and learn about ocean protection and being a good underwater buddy.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
If canceled or modified up to 24 hours before the trip date, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the prepaid deposit will be charged. No fee applies if the activity is canceled by Xico Dive Center or cannot be rescheduled due to rough sea conditions or medical reasons (if a valid certificate is provided within 24 hours after no-show or cancellation). Under no circumstances, if there is a cancellation and e-learning has been activated, you will not be refunded your deposit for the e-learning.
