Description of the Rescue Diver Course:

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is designed to build your confidence and skills in handling diving emergencies. Over the course of three days, you will gain hands-on experience in rescue techniques, including how to manage emergency situations and assist other divers. You’ll learn to prevent accidents, handle both minor and major emergencies, and apply skills that will make you a safer diver.

What to Expect:

Day 1: Self Rescue & Diving Emergency Management – You’ll begin with theory lessons and practical skills to handle self-rescue, underwater problems, and other emergency situations.
Day 2: Rescue Scenarios – You’ll practice real-world rescue scenarios, learning how to assist panicked or unconscious divers, both in the water and out.
Day 3: Final Rescue Scenarios & Certification – On the last day, you’ll complete additional rescue simulations and a final exam. Once successfully completed, you’ll receive your PADI Rescue Diver certification!

What is the Price of the Rescue Diver Course in Playa del Carmen?

Our meeting point is at our office located at Flamingos Street, between 40th Street North and 42nd Street North, on the corner next to the dive center, Zazil-Ha neighborhood, Postal code 77720 Playa del Carmen, Q.R.

Is certification required?

Yes, a minimum of an Advanced Open Water certification is required for this course.

Do I need to complete any theory or exams?

Yes, the course includes theory to study in advance, hands-on practical training, and a final exam.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

If canceled or modified up to 24 hours before the trip date, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the prepaid deposit will be charged. No fee applies if the activity is canceled by Xico Dive Center or cannot be rescheduled due to rough sea conditions or medical reasons (if a valid certificate is provided within 24 hours after no-show or cancellation). Under no circumstances, if there is a cancellation and e-learning has been activated, you will not be refunded your deposit for the e-learning.
