Requirements for the Cavern Diver Specialty Course:

For this course students must be a minimum 18 years of age and have completed the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Structure for the PADI Cavern Diver Specialty Course:

The PADI Cavern Diver Specialty Course provides divers with the essential knowledge and skills required for safe exploration of cavern environments. To start, students will receive a PADI Cavern Diver manual, providing students with all the necessary knowledge to begin this course. The course will begin with an introduction to cavern diving fundamentals, students learn about specialized equipment, gas management, and emergency procedures tailored to cavern environments. Students will participate in practical sessions focused on mastering entry and exit techniques, line handling, and navigation in overhead environments. Students will gain hands-on experience with simulated emergency scenarios and rescue techniques specific to cavern diving. Through supervised cavern dives in the cenotes, students apply learned skills and procedures under our instructors guidance. Once practical and theoretical training is complete participants will move onto a final written exam, Upon successful completion of the course students will receive an email from PADI with their PADI Cavern Diver Specialty certification. This structured program ensures divers are well-prepared to explore and enjoy the unique challenges and beauty of cavern diving responsibly and safely.

What is Included in the Cavern Diver Specialty Course:

The Cavern Diver Specialty Course includes the Cavern Diver Specialty manual, a class on theory with one of our highly trained instructors, 4 cavern scuba dives in the cenotes, dive computer, underwater torches, PADI registration and PADI certification. Our price does not include equipment, however we offer brand new rental equipment if needed. We also offer free Nitrox, if you do not have your Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification we offer the course if you are interested in diving with Nitrox.
