Description of the Snorkeling Discovery:

Kick off the morning in the crystal-clear waters of Akumal Bay, home to three of the world’s seven sea turtle species. Glide over vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, graceful rays and spectacular rock formations—all in water with exceptional visibility.

Next, head deep into the lush Yucatán rainforest, where you’ll snorkel or float among thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in our exclusive cenotes Ix Balam and Yum Balam. Authentic Mexican empanadas prepared by local cooks add a delicious cultural touch to your adventure.

What To Expect:

  • 06:00 – 09:00 Hotel pick-up in air-conditioned van (times depend on hotel zone)
  • 09:15 – 10:15 Snorkel with sea turtles in Akumal Bay
  • 10:30 Depart for the cenote park (light snacks en route)
  • 11:00 Arrive at the cenote park
  • 11:15 – 12:30 Guided tour, swim & snorkel in the cenote
  • 13:00 Return transport to hotels

Cancellation Policy
If canceled or modified up to 24 hours before the trip date, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the prepaid deposit will be charged. No fee applies if the activity is canceled by Xico Dive Center or cannot be rescheduled due to rough weather conditions.
What should I bring with me?
Swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, 20 USD per person(Collected by your guide at the start of the tour. Due in cash with USD, MXN or EUR ) waterproof camera if you like, reef-safe sunscreen, and any personal items (snacks, medications). We supply masks, life jackets, and bottled water.
Are cenotes suitable for children or beginners?
Yes. Everyone enters the water with a life jacket, and our guides stay close to ensure safety and comfort for all ages and skill levels.
