If canceled or modified up to 24 hours before the trip date, no fee will be charged. If canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the prepaid deposit will be charged. No fee applies if the activity is canceled by Xico Dive Center or cannot be rescheduled due to rough weather conditions.
What should I bring?
Light-weight clothing, hat, reusable water bottle, biodegradable sunscreen applied before arrival, sunglasses, swimwear, towel and optional snorkeling mask.
Is this tour suitable for children?

Can I snorkel on both islands?
Yes—first at the reef en route, then in Contoy’s shallow waters if conditions allow.
Why can’t I use sunscreen on Isla Contoy?
To protect fragile reef ecosystems, even “reef-safe” chemicals are prohibited inside the sanctuary.
How much free time will I have on Isla Mujeres?
Approximately one hour on Playa Norte to shop, stroll or relax before heading back.
What wildlife might I see?
Over 150 bird species, nesting sea turtles, tropical fish, rays—and if we’re lucky, even manta rays offshore.
What happens in bad weather?
If the reef snorkel is unsafe, we’ll extend time exploring Isla Contoy’s trails or Playa Norte instead.
