Description of the Divemaster Internship:

The PADI Divemaster Internship is a fully immersive program designed for divers who want to commit themselves to the professional diving lifestyle. Over 3 months, you’ll work side by side with our team, gaining real experience both in and out of the water. This is not just a course—it’s a professional apprenticeship where you’ll live the daily life of a Divemaster in one of the world’s most popular diving destinations.

You’ll polish your dive skills to demonstration level, expand your knowledge of dive theory, and learn to take responsibility for student divers and certified divers alike. With daily involvement in courses, guiding, equipment handling, and customer service, you’ll be fully prepared for a successful diving career.

What to Expect:

  • Dive Theory & Skill Development – Complete your PADI Divemaster eLearning, then deepen your knowledge of dive physics, physiology, and the underwater environment through daily practical application. Practice and refine your skills to professional demonstration quality.
  • Daily Assisting & Guiding – Assist instructors with courses, help organize logistics, and lead certified divers under supervision. You’ll interact daily with Spanish- and English-speaking divers, so strong Spanish skills are essential.
  • Leadership & Operations Training – Participate in dive site management, emergency planning, equipment care, and customer service. You’ll also complete the mapping project, stamina assessments, and all practical evaluations required for Divemaster certification.
