The Descent Mk2 is designed for divers who want a premium Garmin watch above water without giving up serious dive-computer functions below it. Its dive software spans straightforward single-gas recreational use through multi-gas decompression and closed-circuit rebreather configurations.
Multi-Gas mode accepts oxygen settings from 5–100%, one bottom gas and up to 11 additional decompression or backup gases. CCR mode provides separate setpoint and diluent configuration, while Gauge, Apnea and Apnea Hunt cover bottom-timer and freediving use. Surface GPS, fitness, navigation and smart features make the Mk2 substantially more than a dive-only instrument.
