HYDROS PRO takes a very different approach from a conventional jacket BCD. Its Monprene gel harness and modular component architecture are designed to reduce water retention, simplify repairs and let the diver configure accessories, straps and weight systems around the way they actually dive.
The injection-molded harness is highly resistant to UV, chemicals and abrasion, and because there is little fabric to soak up water the BCD dries quickly after a dive. SCUBAPRO’s modular “BCD-4-Life” concept means many buckles, straps, pockets and weight-system parts can be removed or replaced without sewing. The back-inflate bladder keeps the front of the torso comparatively uncluttered.
