The Bonassi Koala is designed around durability and straightforward operation rather than complex accessories. Bonassi positions it for intensive use, with robust Cordura construction and an adjustment system intended to cover more than one body size in a single BCD size.
Double shoulder buckles increase the fit range, while the adjustable cummerbund helps tune the torso fit. Integrated side weight pockets keep ballast close to the body, and two quick-dump valves provide alternate ways to vent the bladder. Bonassi also describes the inflator as having no moving parts in its direct-system design, with a redesigned exhaust that increases air release.
