The MK11 is a compact balanced-diaphragm first stage built for divers who want stable delivery with a sealed mechanism and flexible hose routing. A diaphragm design separates most moving internal components from direct contact with the surrounding water, which also supports cold-water and contaminated-water resistance compared with an unsealed mechanism.
SCUBAPRO specifies two high-pressure ports and four low-pressure ports, including two high-flow LP ports, giving the installer useful options for SPG/transmitter and second-stage hose placement. The chrome-plated marine-brass body is the same first stage used in the MK11/S270 system, but Xico is selling the first stage component only.
