The SubFrame is engineered to provide the strength of a framed mask without a bulky external plastic frame. Atomic molds the structural subframe beneath the silicone skirt and then locks the two lenses in place with a stainless-steel retainer across the bridge.
That architecture keeps the outside profile clean while giving the mask substantial rigidity. Atomic’s UltraClear optical glass is designed for high light transmission with minimal green tint and color distortion, and the low-volume twin-lens shape brings the glass close to the eyes for a wide field of view. The lenses are removable, which also supports optional corrective-lens configurations.
