A night dive is not simply the same reef with less light. The behavior changes. Octopuses and lobsters become more active, moray eels leave their hiding places, reef fish settle for the night, and your light reveals small details that disappear during the day.
The focused beam also changes how you see the reef. Instead of taking in the whole landscape at once, you slow down and notice one animal, texture, or movement at a time.

This is a one-tank guided boat dive timed around sunset. Xico provides the activity dive light, completes a night-specific briefing, and selects a local site according to port status, weather, current, visibility, and diver comfort.
