Requirements for the PADI ReActivate Refresher Program:
Participants must be certified scuba divers. If participants are not certified we offer a Discovery Scuba Dive in Casa Cenote option as well.
A Typical Day of the PADI ReActivate Refresher Program in Casa Cenote:
The PADI ReActivate Refresher Program in Casa Cenote is designed for certified divers who need to refresh their skills and knowledge after a period of not diving. This program starts at Xico Dive Center where scuba divers will meet their instructor, receive equipment and be transported to Casa Cenote. Upon arrival at the cenote students will receive a quick classroom session that reviews basic dive planning, safety stops, emergency procedures, and equipment handling. Afterwards divers will practice essential skills such as regulator recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy control, and emergency drills like alternate air source use and controlled emergency swimming ascents in the cenote. Finally divers will move onto 2 dives in Casa Cenote no deeper than 19 ft/6 m. While there is no new certification, participants receive a logbook entry indicating completion. Upon completion of this activity divers will leave more confident in their skills and ready to explore more of the underwater world.
What is Included in the PADI ReActivate Program in Casa Cenote:
The PADI ReActivate Program in Casa Cenote includes transportation, entrance fees, lunch, a class reviewing scuba diving skills, a skill session, two scuba dives in the cenote and brand new rental equipment. We also offer free Nitrox, if you do not have your Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification we offer the course if you are interested in diving with Nitrox.
