Requirements for the PADI Advanced Open Water Course:
To enroll in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification and be a minimum age of 15 years old.
PADI Advanced Open Water Course Structure :
The Advanced Open Water course is a super fun 3 day course. Students will start by receiving an Advanced Open Water Diver manual providing students with information on the course and knowledge about advanced styles and specialties of diving. The Advanced Open Water Diver course includes 5 adventure dives. One of the dives will explore deep diving, another dive will explore navigation and then 3 of the dives students have the opportunity to choose which adventure dives they wish to explore. Contact us about the options of which adventure dives we offer. These dives provide an opportunity to develop specialized skills and gain experience in different environments and conditions. There are no written exams in the Advanced Open Water Diver course. Evaluation is based on participation in adventure dives and the demonstration of skills in the water. The Advanced Open Water Diver certification provides more confidence and skills to explore the underwater world. After completing the Advanced Open Water Diver course participants will have the ability to dive at a depth of 100ft/30m and learn skills such as:
- Advanced underwater navigation.
- Refined buoyancy control.
- Planning and execution of deep dives.
- Current diving techniques, and much more.
Upon completing the course and the required dives, you will receive an email from PADI with the Advanced Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive in a variety of conditions and environments.
What is Included in the PADI Advanced Open Water Course:
The Advanced Open Water course includes an Advanced Open Water Diver manual, 5 adventure dives, rental gear, dive computer, the PADI online registration and the PADI certification. We also offer free Nitrox, if you do not have your Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification we offer the course if you are interested in diving with Nitrox.
