Frequently Asked Questions About Our Multi-Day Dive Packages

Can I customize my dive package?

Yes. The 4, 5 and 6-day packages give you a simple base itinerary, but you can replace included Playa del Carmen dive days with selected cenote, Cozumel, refresher or bull shark experiences at the applicable upgrade price.

Tell us what you would most like to experience and we will help you build the itinerary.

Which cenotes are included?

Every package includes one Standard Cenote 2-dive day. Standard options include Chac Mool , Twee ogen en Chikin-Ha .

Premium cenote options are also available for an additional charge.

Can I include bull shark diving?

Yes, during bull shark season. You can choose the Bull Shark Observation + Reef or Het voeren van stierhaaien at the applicable package upgrade price.

Can I upgrade to a package after my first dive day?

Yes. If you start with an individual qualifying dive and decide that you want to continue diving with us, contact the Xico team before your second dive day begins.

We can normally apply what you already paid for the first qualifying dive toward an eligible multi-day package.

What happens if weather or a port closure cancels a dive?

If a scheduled activity cannot operate because of weather, port closure or unsafe conditions, we first try to reschedule it during your stay.

If rescheduling is not possible, we can look for a suitable alternative. Any unused portion is handled according to the applicable package cancellation and refund policy.

Are rental equipment and Nitrox included?

Rental equipment is not included in the base package price. Multi-day package guests receive the special rental rate of 400 MXN per dive day .

If you are Nitrox certified, Nitrox is complimentary on suitable dive profiles, subject to availability.
